The roller gently rejuvenates your skin by stimulating the collagen production to give you a healthier looking skin. The treatment is designed to treat a number of concerns such as removal of acne scars, ageing lines & wrinkles, stretch marks, and sun damage.
This treatment is safe for all skin types.
First, we apply a topical anaesthetic 30 minutes prior to the procedure to numb the skin. Then, we roll the Derma roller over the desired area producing thousands of micro needle columns to start collagen production. This encourages the skin to regenerate and repair itself. The whole procedure takes only 20-25 minutes.
Immediately after the treatment it will look like you’ve got moderate sunburn & your skin may feel tighter than usual. However, it subsides within 2 hours, with only slight redness the following day.
It takes up to 6 weeks for maximum results to be noticed. During the first 3 weeks, your texture and skin tone will improve. After 6 weeks you’ll notice an improvement to the appearance of lines, wrinkles and scarring. The results last for at least 6 months.
We prescribe at least 4 treatments at 6 weekly intervals to achieve desired results.
